北京聯(lián)合大學(xué)商務(wù)學(xué)院是一所以經(jīng)濟(jì)學(xué)、管理學(xué)為主，兼有藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)類專業(yè)的本科學(xué)院。學(xué)院創(chuàng)建于1978年，前身為北京工業(yè)學(xué)院（北京理工大學(xué)）分院，是高校“文明校園”單位，并被北京市政府授予“首都綠化美化花園式單位”稱號(hào)。校園精雅整潔，形成了適合學(xué)生健康成長(zhǎng)的良好育人環(huán)境。學(xué)院設(shè)有國(guó)際商務(wù)系、國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)系、電子商務(wù)系、商務(wù)藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)系、涉外商務(wù)系、基礎(chǔ)部、社科部、培訓(xùn)部、夜大等教學(xué)部門(mén)，設(shè)有工商管理（國(guó)際商務(wù)管理）、市場(chǎng)營(yíng)銷（國(guó)際物流）、財(cái)務(wù)管理、會(huì)展經(jīng)濟(jì)與管理、國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)與貿(mào)易、金融學(xué)、信息管理與信息系統(tǒng)（商務(wù)信息管理）、電子商務(wù)、藝術(shù)設(shè)計(jì)等專業(yè)?，F(xiàn)有全日制在校生2100余人。學(xué)院以企業(yè)管理學(xué)、國(guó)際貿(mào)易學(xué)和管理科學(xué)與工程等校級(jí)重點(diǎn)建設(shè)學(xué)科為支撐，以一批在本學(xué)科領(lǐng)域具有較深造詣的教授、博士為帶頭人，引領(lǐng)學(xué)院各學(xué)科專業(yè)快速建設(shè)與發(fā)展。學(xué)院教學(xué)設(shè)施先進(jìn)，所有教室都配備了多媒體設(shè)備，并建有多個(gè)適應(yīng)應(yīng)用性國(guó)際商務(wù)人才培養(yǎng)的實(shí)驗(yàn)室，其中“經(jīng)貿(mào)實(shí)驗(yàn)教學(xué)中心”為北京市市級(jí)實(shí)驗(yàn)教學(xué)示范中心，為學(xué)生提供了良好的學(xué)習(xí)、實(shí)驗(yàn)環(huán)境。學(xué)院以培養(yǎng)應(yīng)用性國(guó)際商務(wù)人才為建設(shè)目標(biāo)，重視國(guó)際交流與合作，積極朝著國(guó)際化的方向發(fā)展，培養(yǎng)了一批應(yīng)用型國(guó)際商務(wù)人才。自2000年始學(xué)院在全國(guó)率先與英國(guó)西蘇格蘭大學(xué)進(jìn)行了“3＋1”雙學(xué)位合作辦學(xué)，學(xué)生可繼續(xù)深造一年合格后獲碩士學(xué)位，形成了五年讀3個(gè)學(xué)位的國(guó)際合作辦學(xué)模式。到目前為止，我院赴英國(guó)留學(xué)的學(xué)生人數(shù)已近500余名，并派出專門(mén)教師帶隊(duì)，每年的團(tuán)體簽證率均為100%，學(xué)生赴國(guó)外留學(xué)的學(xué)士學(xué)位獲取率為100%，近年來(lái)繼續(xù)攻讀碩士學(xué)位的學(xué)生占留學(xué)生的比例達(dá)到了85%，該項(xiàng)目深受廣大學(xué)生、家長(zhǎng)的歡迎。自2002年始學(xué)院與香港主要院校開(kāi)展了多形式的國(guó)際合作辦學(xué)項(xiàng)目，2007年已選送部分優(yōu)秀畢業(yè)生赴香港教育學(xué)院攻讀碩士學(xué)位；2008年啟動(dòng)了與香港嶺南大學(xué)的國(guó)際交流生互派計(jì)劃，以后每年都將選派部分優(yōu)秀在校生赴香港嶺南大學(xué)學(xué)習(xí)一個(gè)學(xué)期。學(xué)院還與英國(guó)諾森比亞大學(xué)、加拿大溫尼伯格大學(xué)等多個(gè)國(guó)家和地區(qū)的大學(xué)開(kāi)展合作辦學(xué)項(xiàng)目，為不同層次需求的學(xué)生攻讀國(guó)（境）外碩士學(xué)位提供了更多的途徑，為學(xué)生的成才提供了廣闊的空間。同時(shí)制定了多種激勵(lì)政策，鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生努力學(xué)習(xí)，勇于追求，國(guó)際合作辦學(xué)已形成學(xué)院獨(dú)特的辦學(xué)特色和辦學(xué)品牌之一。為適應(yīng)國(guó)際化人才競(jìng)爭(zhēng)的需要，學(xué)院非常注重學(xué)生英語(yǔ)應(yīng)用能力的培養(yǎng)，通過(guò)采取英語(yǔ)強(qiáng)化學(xué)習(xí)、開(kāi)設(shè)雙語(yǔ)教學(xué)、全英語(yǔ)教學(xué)等措施，使學(xué)生每年在全國(guó)大學(xué)生英語(yǔ)競(jìng)賽和CCTV杯全國(guó)大學(xué)生英語(yǔ)演講比賽中都獲得很好的成績(jī)。學(xué)院從2006年開(kāi)始，在工商管理（國(guó)際商務(wù)管理）和國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)與貿(mào)易兩個(gè)專業(yè)試行全英語(yǔ)教學(xué)，取得了很好的效果。2009年學(xué)院繼續(xù)試辦國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)與貿(mào)易專業(yè)全英語(yǔ)教學(xué)班，將從報(bào)考我院國(guó)際經(jīng)濟(jì)與貿(mào)易專業(yè)的考生中，按高考英語(yǔ)成績(jī)及入學(xué)后的院英語(yǔ)選拔成績(jī)擇優(yōu)錄取一個(gè)全英語(yǔ)教學(xué)班。學(xué)院為全英語(yǔ)班學(xué)生專設(shè)出國(guó)（境）實(shí)習(xí)獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金，獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)素質(zhì)高、學(xué)習(xí)成績(jī)優(yōu)秀的學(xué)生赴國(guó)（境）外實(shí)習(xí)。學(xué)院始終秉承“學(xué)以致用”的校訓(xùn)，以培養(yǎng)應(yīng)用性國(guó)際商務(wù)人才為己任，課程設(shè)置、教育教學(xué)都以應(yīng)用為導(dǎo)向，突出學(xué)生實(shí)際應(yīng)用能力的培養(yǎng)，使他們具備了較強(qiáng)的動(dòng)手能力，我院畢業(yè)生深受社會(huì)的廣泛歡迎，近三年平均就業(yè)率保持在97%以上。目前，學(xué)院處于快速發(fā)展的良好時(shí)期，正努力為首都的經(jīng)濟(jì)建設(shè)和社會(huì)發(fā)展培養(yǎng)更多的應(yīng)用性國(guó)際商務(wù)人才。 Business College of Beijing Union University (BCBUU) is a corporate institution of higher learning in Beijing, subordinate to the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education. It was awarded the title of “Model Civil College” and “the Beautiful Green Garden Campus in the Capital” for its neat and tidy circumstances which is beneficial to the development of mind and health of the students in its fine educational conditions. Business College of Beijing Union University is a multi-disciplinary institution including a variety of fields of study in its International Business, E-business and Business Art Design Departments. It aims at establishing a refined international college to foster and train talents for international business, with the purpose of “giving service to the capital, extending its service to the whole country, based on application, and with a remarkable internationalization feature”. The College offers the following disciplines in line with the development of the time and the demand of the market, which paves the way of employment for its graduates. They are International Business and Trade, Business Administration, Financial Management, Marketing, Information Management and System, E-business, Art Design, etc.The College has grown up after years of significant development. It got the authorization from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education in 2005 to confer bachelor’s degrees for all its programs. The College has the Department of International Business, the Department of E-business, the Department of Business Art Design, the Division of Basic Courses, the Division of Social Courses, the Business Practice and Training Center, the International Training Centre, the Meetings and Exhibitions Research Institute, the International Business Research Institute, and the E-business Research Institute, and so on. Since it was established over twenty years ago, the College has been making great efforts to explore and expand courageously its great-leap-forward development in international education. Keeping to the theme of development, and driven by management reform, the College changed its concepts of education and vigorously forges ahead managemental innovation, resulting in the new development mode for a medium-sized institution of higher learning in the market economy. It converted from traditional education to quality education, from close-in education to open-door policy at home and abroad. The international communication and co-operation stimulate the improvement of internal management and the modernization of education, so as to meet the need of the economic development of the capital. The College endeavors to match the education setting of the world in an all-round manner with its international co-operation pattern at many levels, types, and channels. It gains the reputation of the internationalized and highly-qualified institution with superior administration and credibility. The seminar on the Administrative Approach of Business College and the Principal Ming Sun's Thoughts on the Collegial Administration was held by the Beijing Union University on 3rd December, 2004, which many leaders from the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education attended. The China Education Television had an interview and reported it as a special subject. The College has established co-operational education projects with the University of Paisley and the Northumbria University in the United Kingdom, the Asia Open International University (Macao), University of Ballarat in Australia, the Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology in New Zealand, the Chartered Institute of Technology in Singapore, and CIMNET – IT TRAINING ARM OF CIM, UK. It has opened the direct way of international studies for bachelor’s and master’s degree for the students from diverse backgrounds and of different needs. The students here have access to many channels to choose from to study abroad. The College currently administers jointly with the University of Paisley and the Northumbria University in UK the 3+1 co-training mode and also the five-year mode that can grant three degrees, two bachelor’s degrees and one master’s degree, to the successful candidates. The modules are attractive to many students and run very well. In this program, after having studied for three years in Business College of Beijing Union University, the students can apply to study in UK in their fourth year and their credits acquired at one co-operating institution are accepted by the other, thus the successful candidates can be awarded two bachelor’s degrees, from the College and the university in Britain. After getting their bachelor’s degree, the students may continue to study for one year for their master’s degree, so that they may achieve three degrees within five years. The College adheres to the basic tenets of truthfulness and credibility, and therefore, 100 percent group visa applications of the students to UK by the College are successful every year. In the past five years, nearly 20% of our undergraduate students are offered the opportunity to study abroad. They value their time, trying their best to make most of their study and as a result, 100% of the students abroad attained their bachelor’s degree and 85% of them proceed to the pursuit of the master’s degrees. In order to improve our work of selecting truly qualified students to go abroad, the College is to set up the Overseas-studying Fund from 2005 to support talented students from families in low financial conditions to have the chance of studying abroad. In addition to the co-operative programs that lead to academic degrees, some other programs are launched by the College and Malmi School of Business in Finland, the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Michigan Community College in American, University of Ulm and IHK Nuernberg in Germany, and so on. Currently, all departments and research institutes of the College are working effectively to advance their international communication and cooperation. The College carries out successful and fruitful research cooperation with the University of Paisley, and the Meetings and Exhibitions Research Institute with the partners in Germany, the Business Art Design Department with the universities in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
